Welcome to my new blog!
If you have any sort of interest in tips for building personal wealth or just overall improving your financial literacy, then you’ve come to the right place. The topics covered will generally include tips and strategies for saving, budgeting, debt reduction, investing, career management, and retirement. And, sometimes random musings.
Who am I and why am I doing this? My name is Bryan and after 40 years in the professional workplace I was able to comfortably retire before the age of 60. Maybe it would be more accurate to say that I’ve taken a short sabbatical to figure out what, if anything, that I might want to do next. My formal education was a BS in Mathematics and a MBA in Management. But that’s just paper.
As I reflect back on my long and storied career, I find the most rewarding aspects have been when I was able to teach and mentor. I especially love watching those individuals flourish financially and in their own careers, as I have. Previously I had been a technology professional but at this point I feel like I’ve been there and done that. Yes, technology is ever changing and challenging, but I’m at the point where I want to do something different yet something that I am equally as passionate about. I had been regularly and informally coaching a few individuals, with some great results, and it finally dawned on me that I really have something to offer.
So, I decided to start Mo Money Coaching LLC to help and mentor others on ways to build wealth and achieve their financial goals as successfully as I have. This blog is an outgrowth of that and I’m using it to connect with anyone who has an interest in improving their financial literacy. I’m looking forward to giving back and engaging in some community spirit. Thank you for coming on the ride.
